Goodbye SIT, hello LIFE!!! Join me!

A new beginning

I thought I'd start a blog now that I am beginning a new life. Just two more weeks with SIT and then..... hmmmm..... opportunities abound, or not. In today's financial times everyone is worrying about their future, their next paycheck, feeding the family, etc. I am only worrying about how to fill in the Dutch social security forms correctly, how much I'll be sneezing from Scott's cats, and what project to knit next. All manageable problems.

But to keep the blog interesting, I'll start with a story, or two. I was in Zwolle in Saturday for the last VrijeQuilt class gathering. Here is my finished project. It was fun to see the projects of the advanced group. I was invited to join their group for further inspiration, which I gladly did.

I also had an afternoon visit with my Dutch family and I saw my first pregnant Barbie. I think she still walks on her tiptoes but notice she does have a bigger waistline. I also learned some new Origami techniques from Roel. We made lilies! Josine made a delicious Sonja Bakker dinner of fish. Then I headed back home to Amsterdam.

Life goes on.
